Steven E. Rubin, MD, specializes in cognitive disorders such as dementia, and related problems of mood, thought and behavior. He addresses neurological and psychiatric issues that affect elderly individuals, their families and the community. His expertise incorporates physical, environmental, psychological and pharmacological aspects of health care.
Medical services include diagnostic assessment and clinical management of individuals with age-related health issues. Medication management is conservative and practicality based. He coordinates care plans with community case managers, and is a consultant at several extended care, group home, and assisted living facilities throughout Northern Nevada.
